Welcome to Kiosk Display (operated as part of the Family Kiosk Platform on domain flavorfeed.com). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our family display software, mobile quick-entry tools, and calendar synchronization services (collectively, the "Platform").
By using Kiosk Display or connecting Google Calendar, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. In plain words: our display is an appliance built to help your family stay organized, not to sell ads or track your private life.
1. What You Can Use the Display For
Kiosk Display is designed for family households and vertically oriented monitors. You are welcome to:
- Run the display on dedicated upright kitchen screens, wall-mounted monitors, counter stands, or family tablets in your home.
- Organize family events, morning and evening routine charts, kid chore stars, and household pinboards.
- Sync events smoothly between your family display screen and family members' phones.
Please don't attempt to resell our software, reverse-engineer the code, or scrape data from our services.
2. Family Accounts & Parent Controls
Your Household: Kiosk Display organizes information for your specific family household. Authorized family members share access to the family calendar and message pinboard.
Parental Controls: The display includes parent-lock features, such as 4-digit PINs, so little hands don't accidentally change calendar settings or display connections.
Keeping Things Secure: You are responsible for keeping your household pairing code secure. Let us know if you ever need help resetting your household credentials.
3. Google Calendar & Third-Party Services
Our display connects with Google Calendar to keep your family plans in sync:
- Google Calendar API: When you connect Google Calendar, Kiosk Display only uses the safe
calendar.app.createdpermission. We never look at your personal work meetings or read private emails. Use of Google APIs complies strictly with the Google API Services User Data Policy. - Third-Party Terms: Connecting external services (like Google Calendar or Apple Reminders) is also subject to the terms provided by those respective companies.
4. Your Content & Family Ownership
You own 100% of your schedules, kid drawings, chore charts, and family notes. We do not own, sell, or claim rights to your family's memories. We only store and display them so your household can enjoy an organized home.
5. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
Warranty Disclaimer: THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE STRIVE FOR 100% RELIABILITY, BUT CANNOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED AVAILABILITY AT ALL TIMES.
Limitation of Liability: TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL KIOSK DISPLAY, ITS OPERATORS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.
6. Disconnecting & Canceling
You can stop using Kiosk Display at any time simply by disconnecting your display in Settings or revoking access in your Google Account (myaccount.google.com/permissions). You can also ask us to completely delete your household data anytime by emailing us.
7. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California and the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
